Changes are coming to NorthStar regarding prices! Starting 10/01/25, WA State has introuced a new law that requires business that offer services (such as Drivers Ed, Exams, etc) to charge retail sales tax. This tax will be 10.3% the total of any service purchased. Our prices have changed to match this tax law that has come into effect- you may see this tax added on when checking out. Prices now have the 10.3% tax added for all packages and services. 

Our new online scheduler, PickTime, has been introduced for all parents and students! Now scheduling drive lessons and simulators is better than ever, students can look at all of our availabilites and schedule their drive lessons for what works best for their schedule. To use our new scheduler for sims, go to our Students page! For drive lessons, simply email CallCenter@NStarDriving.com! Remember that students MUST have completed their Class #15 test and have no outstanding balances to schedule their lessons. Our neighbors, Tha Don Barbershop, will be holding a back to school event this Sunday, August 31st! 

Come by to pick up free school supplies, get a free haircut, and get free tickets to the Woodland Park Zoo! They will be open all day from 12pm-6pm so students can stop in. They are located right next to our Auburn Office at 26 B St Ne Auburn, WA 98003. 

We are also partnering with our neighbors so students can get a special discount for any Bundled package! Get 10% off a Drivers Ed class for September/October when you visit Tha Don Barbershop this Sunday, remember as long as you are at least 15 years old- you can start Driver's Ed!
